Established in 2002, the European Golf Industry Association is an alliance of national golf trade associations supported by major brands.

The EGIA is run by a Council made up of representatives from each member country and is administered from the offices of The Federation of Sports & Play Associations (FSPA) in the UK.

The EGIA is also a member of a group of pan-European golfing organisations who meet to discuss issues of common interest and concern. This group includes the PGA’s of Europe, the Club Managers Association of Europe, European Institute of Golf Course Architects, European Tour, European Golf Association, European Golf Course Owners Association and the Federation of European Golf Greenkeepers Associations.
