    At the recent AGM Doug Poole stepped down after serving three years as Chairman, his place was filled by Nigel Freemantle who had formerly been operating in the Vice Chairman’s role.

About Us

The British Golf Industry Association (BGIA) is the lead trade body representing UK manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors of golf products and services. 

The BGIA operates under the umbrella of the Federation of Sport and Play Associations (FSPA); the national trade body responsible for representing 18 associations within the UK's sport and play industries.

The BGIA's Aims:

To represent the UK golf industry on all encompassing matters affecting the industry to; government departments, partners, golf’s governing bodies, trade associations and other organisations on a national and international level.

To represent the membership at Trade Fairs and Exhibitions UK, Europe and worldwide.

To provide member companies with an exclusive membership package.

To provide key research, statistics, and vital information to the membership.

To foster the growth of golf and promote increased participation in the sport for the benefit of member companies.

To provide and facilitate a forum platform for the discussion and exchange of views on collective issues affecting the membership.
