Member Industry Surveys
With a vast majority of UK golf manufacturers in membership of the BGIA, the association is able to administer and collate vital industry figures, trends and statistics using member information.
Member companies (full manufacturer members) receive quarterly shipment reports on the club and golf ball markets.
Last year the BGIA carried out a comprehensive Industry Trends Survey of its membership which provided some very useful industry data and trends. Those who contributed were provided with a full analysis of the data.
The BGIA have now produced a comprehensive "State of the Industry" survey looking back at 2009 and ahead to 2010. Members were asked to complete a confidential questionnaire, with only those who participate to receive the full report detailing collated industry trends.
Along with providing members with vital industry statistics and trends, the BGIA has also recently completed its three part study into the European Golf Apparel & Footwear Market, which it provides to members at half price.
