UKTI Export Grants and UK Pavilions at Overseas Trade Shows
The BGIA works closely with UK Trade & Investment to assist UK companies in gaining TAP export grants to exhibit at overseas trade shows (eg PGA Show, Golf Europe). This help is provided for both first-time Exporters and experienced Exporters.
For information about all their services (and for shows the BGIA are not visiting which may have solo funding available) go to www.uktradeinvest.gov.uk, alternatively please contact the BGIA if you are intersted in exhibiting at overseas trade shows.
The BGIA also provides dedicated UK pavilions at overseas shows, please visit the shows detailed in the left hand column for further information on how your company can benefit from exhibiting within a BGIA-led UK Pavilion.
UKTI Funded Trade Missions
In 2009 there was a Sports & Leisure focused Trade Mission to Shanghai and Shenzhen organised by Advantage West Midlands, which BGIA members were made aware of. A grant of £750 was available to eligible companies bringing the net cost of the trip down to just £450. The package included return flights to and from Shanghai, 2 nights accommodation in Shanghai and 2 nights accommodation in Shenzhen.
