The British Golf Industry Association (BGIA) is the lead trade body representing UK Manufacturers, Wholesalers and Distributors of golf equipment and apparel and those who supply a service to the golf industry. 

The BGIA operates under the umbrella of the Federation of Sports and Play Associations (FSPA); the national trade body responsible for represening 17 Associations in the sports and play industries www.sportsandplay.com

The BGIA's aims are to: 

• Foster the growth of golf and promote increased participation in the sport for the benefit of member companies.
• Represent the industry with government departments, partners, golf’s governing bodies, trade associations and other organisations on a national and international level.
• Progress relationships between European companies and European organisations.
• Provide a platform for the exchange of views on matters affecting the industry.
• Promote the industry at Trade Fairs and Exhibitions.
• Offer key research, statistics and vital information to the membership.
• Protect and promote the industry through the above activities.
