eGolfScore UK has a record year

eGolfScore UK has just completed a record year in 2009 providing real-time wireless golf scoring to a terrific and growing client base.  In addition, eGolfScore UK continues to create some special alliances within the golf industry.

The second year of their unique partnership with The Grove in Hertfordshire has been very successful and this has been highlighted by Declan McCollam, Director of Golf at The Grove.

“ The Grove has been using the eGolfScore system for two years and the feedback and results have been nothing but positive. We have been delighted not only with the system but also the back up and efficiency of the eGolfScore team. We would highly recommend this system to any golf company or corporate group as a great way to add enjoyment to your golf day.”

eGolfScore has teamed up with Golf Digest Ireland to deliver live scoring to the newly launched Golf Digest Ireland Autumn Championship which was initially played at Killeen Castle. eGolfScore will provide the live scoring to all of the championship series days and will continue to bring to life these very special set of events via live scoring.

One of the special moments for eGolfScore UK was the involvement in the Annual KPMG Golf Business Forum held on the 2010 course at the Celtic Manor Resort in April of this year. This event enabled eGolfScore to be recognized within the golfing industry and was acknowledged by our peers as a unique addition to the day. The event was also special due to the attendance of the king of golf, Mr. Arnold Palmer.

"Our eGolfScore UK team continues to expand our global presence. We have been leading the industry in real-time wireless golf scoring for several years, and the International community is really taking notice.  We look forward to working closely with our UK team to accelerate our growth throughout Europe and the world." said Joe Kaplan, Co-founder and CEO of eGolfScore.

eGolfScore UK is delighted to announce some very exciting new additions to the service which will be available in 2010. In 2009, we offered team and individual picture uploads onto a commemorative scorecard. In 2010 we have gone one better by videoing each players swing on the tee and uploading it onto the event specific website for everyone to view after their round. We feel this is something very unique and it gives everyone a chance to see the swing of the winner or even the winning team.

The year has been a record for eGolfScore UK in the sheer number of events and miles covered to deliver this great service. We continue to seek out great clients who will appreciate eGolfScore’s ability to significantly enhance corporate and charity outings, tours and tournaments, and golf course member and member/guest events.
